If you loved the movie, you will love the novel even more. The novel goes into much more detail about Holly's life and it turns out much different then the movies does! 

 

P.S I Love You by Cecelia Ahem follows the story of Holly Kennedy a widow, trying to hold on to the memory of her late husband Gerry. Gerry, made a treasure hunt for his Holly before he passed away to help her move on with her life without him. 

 

Anyone familiar with the movies knows this story follows Holly and Gerry. In the book, the couple lives in Dublin, while in the movie they live in America. One thing noticeably different about the book to the movies is Holly has a large family in the book. Whereas in the movies we only get to see her mom and sister, Ciara. The biggest difference that is very noticeable is that there is no William character in the book. This leaves the role of Holly's new love open. 

 

So if you loved the movie, fall in love all over again with the book.
