Twitch.tv
Here at Creative Arts we believe that art comes in many different forms. Today we are going to talk about Twitch.tv. It is mostly geared towards people streaming themselves playing video games but it also offers creative channels, talk shows, board games and other creative things that we find entertaining and fit well with our site.
Video Games:
You name the video game and twitch has a section for it. They list any video game you can imagine and all you have to do is click on it to see who is streaming it. It is free to watch and is a great place to interact with people about the game you love.
Board Games:
Board games or table top games are making a come back and it is not uncommon to see it on twitch, they even have ways that you can play as a group if you're not in the same place. Some channels like to mix it up and have a variety of different things they do to pull audience members into their channel and table top games seem to be a great way. Not really considered table top games but there are even channels that play Dungeons and Dragons and Poker nights. You can literally find anything on twitch. And each channel has its own specific "specialty".
Creative Things:
They also have creative channels where you can see people paint, draw, make things, build things, do tattoos. All kinds of creative stuff even crochet and knit! Everything you can think of you can find on Twitch.tv
Our Recommendations:
We recommend Geek and Sundry, they have amazing shows including Critical Role a Dungeon and Dragons game played by talented voice actors that really bring the story and world Matt Mercer has created to life. We also recommend Minion of Geek, he streams random video games during the day and Mario Maker at night, he is a great person and makes everyone feel welcomed. And if poker is your thing, we recommend Kevin Martin 987 he's not really suitable for children but he's a character and puts on a good show.
