Book Club - Chapter 9 (Cinder)
The ninth chapter was short and just a few pages. We are brought again to the laboratory and learn more of what the process is that the doctors have been going through to find a cure. At this stage, Cinder has been infected with the virus and they are examining her.
We learn that Cinder is different to anything they have seen before. Her body seems to fascinate them for some reason especially her spine. We also learn more about how Cinder reacts to the virus injected into her. Again because it is such a short chapter this is the most we get to see, but by the end, we start seeing a slightly different side to the doctor. .
