Today we are looking at "Minor" Holidays. These are the holidays that we celebrate but don't get a day off for. Things that are more symbolic than anything else. These days would be like St. Patrick's day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Presidents Day, Arbor Day, Groundhog Day, things like that (Valentines Day for some).
Again it can be any day you want and any style or category you want. Some great examples of this are of course Groundhog Day. Also, Valentines Day (yes there is a movie called that), or Leap Year about a young woman who travels to Ireland because she believes that is the only day a woman is allowed to propose to a man.
