Sunday Cooking - Meat Macaroni

Meat Macaroni seems like a college kids meal cheap and simple to make. But you not need to be a college student to love this dish. It is simple, it is delicious and it will put a smile on anyone's face. This is a great meal for kids and with a few additions it can be made pack full of some of the daily foods they need. This dish can be changed and things can be added to make it personal to your family! This dish is also a BOGO meal!

What you'll need:

1 - 2 pounds of ground meat (We use beef or deer)

1 box of Macaroni

1 Can of tomato soup (or two if you like more liquid)

Any other additions you may like. Feel free to add any vegetables you think would hold up well in this dish. If they hold up better raw feel free to add them at the end.

Getting Started:

Bring a pot of water to a boil and boil the Macaroni. (You can use any kind of Macaroni you like.) In an electric frying pan, fry the meat (adding water if need be - this depends on fat content of the meat).

Once everything is ready, add the pasta to the electric frying pan and stir. Add the can(s) of soup to the mixture and stir until heated through.

BOGO RECIPE:

This is plain and simple it just takes the first recipe and adds cheese to it (any cheese you like or a blend of cheeses). Mix well and pour into a casserole dish. Top with more cheese and bake (or broil) until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
