Sunday Cooking - Crock Pot English Beef

This recipe is quick and simple to make. It has many alternatives and you can easily adapt it to fit you or your family's needs. You can also substitute with cheaper cuts of meat since it is going in the crock pot.

What you'll need:

Beef Roast (Again this can be any cut you want)

2 Cans of Onion Soup (If you prefer a more Beefy taste you can replace one can with Beef Broth or Consumme).

Optional Serving Items:

Potatoes (Mashed or other)

Flour (For Gravy)

Step one:

Add the cans to the crock pot (you may need more liquid depending on how much meat you use (this will depend on the number of people you feed). You want to make sure the meet is covered by the liquid as best as possible. Add the meat and let cook on low for four hours. (You may need longer if your cut of meat is thicker. Meat can take up to 6 hours in the crock pot, keep this in mind.)

Remove from the juices and slice.

If you use Onion Soup, feel free to drain the liquid and serve the chunks of onions on top of the beef! Also making a gravy from the liquid is a great addition to this meal!
