Freebie Friday - Chicken Broccoli Pasta

Today we are sharing with you our recipe for Chicken Broccoli Pasta! This dish is delicious, easy to make and can be made using leftovers!

What you'll need:

Broccoli (We have leftovers from a Vegetable tray)

Leftover Bacon (2-4 strips)

Leftover Chicken (Broken up into strips)

Pasta

Mushroom Soup (1 - 2 Cans)

Butter or Oil

Optional Additions:

Onion (White or Green)

Parmesan Cheese

Other Cheese

Start by quickly steaming or boiling the broccoli, until there is just a little bite to it. In the same pot (new water) or another pot, bring water to boil and cook pasta until desired texture (this will vary from person to person).

While the pasta is boiling, in a frying pan add the leftover bacon and chicken, and the cooked broccoli (now would be the time for the white onion also), on medium high heat add a small amount of butter (or oil) and let cook until the bacon and broccoli become fragrant. (Add a spoon or two of the pasta water to pan if required.) Drain pasta and add to frying pan, add Mushroom Soup and mix well. (One can of mushroom soup will do fine, if you prefer a more creamy sauce, you will need two cans.) Add in desired cheeses at this time and stir until melted.

Top with Green Onion if desired and or Parmesan cheese.
