Sunday Cooking - Asian Meatballs

Meatballs are usually a crowd favourite and everyone has a different style they make them in. There are almost a 101 ways to make meatballs so for now, here's our take on Asian Style Meatballs.

What you'll need:

2 pounds of Ground Beef

1 pound of Ground Pork

2-3 Eggs

1 Cup of Bread Crumbs (we used Panko, or you can crumble up stale bread or crackers)

4 TBSP of Hoisin Sauce (this makes it very sweet and intense, for lighter flavours use half)

2 TBSP of Soya Sauce (see above)

Bacon (optional)

In a large mixing bowl combined all ingredients. Should you find the mixture too sticky, add more bread crumbs, if the mixture is too dry add another egg. Roll meat into balls and wrap in bacon! Or bake in your favourite sauce (we recommend Teriyaki sauce! Bake at 375 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes (or until meat is fully cooked).
