Craft Kits - Mary Maxime (Arts and Crafts) Part 2
This week we are going to stick with Mary Maxime and focus on their Craft Kits this time. These kits are very similar to their "club boxes" except of course you can pick and choose which ones you want to do. They have Beaded Kits & Ornaments, Diamond Dotz and Diamond Art Kits, Felt Kits, Paint by Numbers, Plastic Canvas Kits, Quilt Kits and General Craft Kits. First, the Ornaments. They have a good selection of kits (about 23 of them), and they all look beautiful. They aren't all religious either, they have some snowman Ornaments, some Santa Claus hats, and just some general Ornaments. They all seem nice and made with good quality items, they are around $14.99 to $19.99 Canadian (plus shipping and handling). And it seems like most kits make about 10 to 12 ornaments so that's not a bad cost per piece kit. Next are the Diamond Dotz and Diamon Art Kits. These have been very popular lately and so it isn't a surprise that they have a wide selection (about 156). These really range in price from $33.99 (again plus shipping and handling) all the way up to $89.99 depending on the one you pick and I would assume the size. Unfortunately again it doesn't list everything you get in the kit so you may have to buy other things but they also offer those on their site too. Now for the Felt Kits, these are all holiday-themed so the closer to Christmas we get they may be on sale. Again they range from $39.99 to $59.99 (plus shipping and handling). Like I said most of these are holiday-themed, specifically Stockings. Next they have the Paint by Number Kits. These are all very beautiful and they all seem to be around $34.99 (not including shipping and handling of course). Most kits have a brush in them that aren't the greatest, but they do offer other brushes on their website so that may be an option to look into. Next we have Plastic Canvas Kits. They have about 22 kits ranging in different sizes and the number of projects. They seem to be available in a lot of different price ranges mostly $20 or under but some a lot more expensive because they have multiple projects in them. And they seem to be easy enough to do and come with everything you need. They also have Quilt Kits however they only have three of them. And again they seem more Christmas themed so maybe you could get them cheaper around Christmas time. The regular ones seem to sell for $39.99 and a longer one seems to go for $49.99 (plus shipping and handling). And finally they have General Craft Kits. Most of these are wooden kits that make miniature houses or vehicles or even robots! They all look very interesting and the end result looks beautiful if they actually come out that way.Again, a lot of different price points some as alow as $16.99 and some as high as $119.99.
