This month is our last month for the Writing Challenge! And we are going out with a bang. This month we are going to focus on stories that revolve around a holiday. With December getting closer and closer a lot more Hallmark movies are going to be coming to the TV. So why not focus on other holidays or events that would inspire a story.
Today we are looking at special days. These aren't holidays but more like events in life. Examples of this would be a Birthday, Wedding Day, Graduation Day, First Day of School, Bachelor/ette Party. Things like that. And of course, you can write in whatever style you want and whatever category you want.
Great examples of this already out there is Bride's Maids. IT is a hilarious comedy about the events leading up to a wedding. The Hangover of course is the funny outcome of a trip to Vegas for a Bachelor Party. Harper's Island is also a great example of this that is a crime drama. It follows a couple getting married on a private island and is filled with death and murder!
So that is the challenge today take a life event and turn it into a story!
