Subscription Box - Yarn Related

Today we are looking at Yarn related Subscription boxes! This could be for knitting or crocheting, however, don't let that limit you. Again, just because it is marketed as one thing doesn't mean you can't adapt it to your own preferences. First, we have KnitCrate. They have a number of different subscription boxes for both crocheting and knitting (so don't let the name fool you!). They describe their boxes as "Luxury Yarn, Custom Colorways & Curated Projects Delivered Monthly". The first box they offer is the Knit & Crochet monthly Club this one sells for $29.99 USD (about $50.00 CAD). Next, they have the SOCK Knit & Crochet Monthly Club this one sells for $24.99 USD (about $42.00 CAD). They have the Mrs. Crosby Travels the World Quarterly Club which sells for $69.99 USD (about $120.00 CAD) and the Malabrigo Quarterly Club which is currently sold out. They also have what I would call "How to Kits". They have a Learn How to Knit Kit, and a Learn How to crochet Kit, along with Learn How to Dye Kits also. This next one is WoolInterrupted. They have a few different boxes available. I am going to start by saying I would never buy this for myself. The price seems slightly ridiculous for the amount of yarn you are actually getting. However, keep in mind this is hand-dyed yarn and that they take the time to make sure the projects they include in the box work with the amount of yarn they send you. They also claim to add a little something extra. So for someone who enjoys knitting or crocheting and likes unique yarns. This may be the yarn for them. This is definitely not a box for beginners or anyone on a budget. This si more for someone who will appreciate the effort that went into the yarn itself. Finally, we have Knitme. They have subscription boxes and kits. Their subscription boxes seem reasonably priced. They have a Wonderland Yarn Subscription for $46.00 (CAD), and an Adventure Box Yarn Subscription for $29.50 (USD). They also have the Wonderland Yarn Subscription available for three months, a Wonderland Quarterly Gift Box, a Wonderland Bi-Monthly Gift box and a Wonderland Annual Gift Box. They also have kits. These aren't subscription boxes but they are boxes. They have a number of kits for knitting, most of them seem to be between $20.00 and $50.00 (CAD). They have a beginner Dishcloth Kit, a Toque Kit, and many more. They also have kits for kids. They offer free shipping to Canada and the United States. BONUS: We have already talked about Mary Maxim and all they offer but I had to add that they also have Mystery Yarn Boxes! They have three of them, Baby Yarn Mystery Box, Sock Yarn Mystery Box and just a general Mystery Yarn Box!
