Subscription Boxes - Food

Today we are going to look at food boxes. These are more snack related and not food like HelloFresh or Goodfood. So today we are going to look at some Snack ones and next week we are going to look at Candy ones.

To start we are going with SnackCrate. They offer three sizes to choose from Mini, Original and Family. This one is quite unique because you can pick which Country or place you want to start with. Currently, they offer Hawaii, Japan, Canada, and England. I believe once you have this starting kit they change each month after. You can see their past crates here. To see the price I would have had to go through a whole survey about what I like and stuff like that. But it does say starting at $16.99 you can probably assume that is if you get a years worth of the box, so I would say about $20 to $25 USD.

Next, we have TokyoTreats. This is a box of Japanese snacks. It promises Japan Exclusive Drink (180 - 500ml), Rare KitKat Party Pack, 2.7lbs of Japanese Snacks, Full Sized Japanese Crazy Candy, Crunchy chips & More, Snack Guide and Member Reward Program. You can get this box monthly for $35.00 USD (about $60.00 CAD), $33.50 USD for three months (about $57.00 CAD), $32.00 USD for six months (about $54.00 CAD), and $31.50 USD for a year subscription (about $53.50 CAD).

Next, we have Bokksu. It is in the same idea as TokyoTReas. They have all snacks and teas from Japan. This one I can say I have heard wonderful things about. One of my favourite YouTubers NerdECrafter loves this brand and she talks about them often on her channel. She has been to Japan and has experience there and this box is the one she chooses. Bokksu offers 20 to 24 Snacks and Teas, a Snack Booklet with Allergen info for $49.95 per month, $44.95 each box for a 3 Month subscription, $42.95 for a 6-month subscription, and $39.95 for a 12-month subscription. Note that it does not say on the box if the dollar amounts are CAD or USD or some other dollar. I believe it is safe to think it is USD. Also even though it says Free Shipping on Subscriptions it does not ship free to Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Greece, Romania, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Israel, Bahrain, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

We have one last box, however before getting away from the Japanese themed ones I want to talk about JapanCrate. This one is as you can guess, another Japanese treat box. As I said about one of my favourite Youtubers is Jackie from NerdECrafter. And she tried this box because as I said previously she loves Japan. And she HATED this box. She definitely showed how it was probably a scam and that it definitely wasn't "Worth Your Cash". I will like that video below if you want to see it.

Finally, we have UniversalYums. This box also travels the world and creates boxes with treats from countries around the world. They have three different sizes, the Yum Box which has 5 to 7 snacks in every box it sells for $15.00 USD (about $25.00 CAD), the YumYum Box this one has 10 to 12 snacks and it sells for $25.00 USD (about $42.00 USD), and finally, the Super Yum Box which has 18 to 20 snacks and it sells for $38.00 USD (about $65.00 USD). All these boxes ship for free in the USA.
