Subscription Boxes - Makeup

Makeup isn't always typically considered "Arts and Crafts" related. But many people now use these mediums to celebrate their creativity. YOu can find a lot of artists on Youtube doing amazing nail art and designs or doing amazing cosplay make-up or costume makeup and it really is amazing to see. So if anyone on your Christmas list is so inclined or just enjoys makeup and the likes these boxes maybe for them. First, we have the BoxyCharm Box. They have three different boxes the Base, the Premium and the Luxe. They have a nice section that details the differences between the boxes. The base says it has an average value of over $175 (USD), and it costs $25 USD (about $31.00 CAD) a month. There are 5 items in this box and they are beauty items. The Premium box says it has an average value of over $215 (USD) this box sells for $39.99 USA (about $50.00 CAD) it ships monthly and it is all beauty items also in this boxes you get six items. The Luxe box is where you really see the difference. It has an average value of over $395 USD and it costs $59.99 USD (about $75.00 CAD). This one is only available Quarterly and it includes eight or more items of beauty and lifestyle nature. It says that you can upgrade to the Premium or Luxe box once you subscribe so I couldn't get prices on those but the base box goes for $25.00 USD a month (about $31.00 CAD), $23.33 for three months (about $29.00 CAD), and $23.00 USD for six months (about $28.50 CAD), and of course for one full year it is $22.92 per box (a little less than $28.50 CAD). Next we have Ipsy. This one is very interesting to me. TO even the price for the boxes I had to fill out a survey type thing about my skin and the products I use and what ones I am excited to try or use on a regular bases. And they are really quite interested in finding the right fit for you. I never wear make up and that was an option on their website. So it seems they really want to make a box that you will enjoy. They have three different boxes or bags. The first one is called a Glam Bag which is $13.00 USD (about $16.00 CAD), the Glam Bag Plus is $28.00 USD (about $35.00 CAD), and you can get them Combined for $41.00 USD (about $50.00 CAD). All these comes with free shipping in the United States so keep in mind if you are in Canada you will have to pay extra in shipping and possibly handling. And finally we have Holo Taco. This one is not a subscription box however it is one of the only sites I have seen that offer bundles for nail polishes. They have twenty two different bundles one of which is a Nail File Bundle which comes with three files. They all look like beautiful bundles and they seem to have a lot of thought put into them. They have "multichrome" bundles, "matte" bundles, "creme" bundlesand a bunch more. As I said I am not really into make up or things like that, but these colours look amazing and I don't think I have seen anything quite like this available anywhere else. The site says that they offer Free Shipping on Canadian orders $99+ in USD. So the products are in USD however the shipping is free in Canada if you are over $99 USD.
