Turkey Day!!
Today we are talking turkeys. It is getting close to the big day and it is time to start thinking about the turkey. According to the Butterball website, there are two common ways to thaw your turkey, Refrigerator Thawing and Cold Water Thawing. Both methods should be done breast side up that is one of the most important things to keep in mind.
For Refrigerator thawing, Butterball encourages you to allow one day of thawing for every 4 pounds. And for the Cold Water thawing, they suggest 30 minutes for every pound of turkey. This is important to keep track of as it will change your timing depending on which method you use and how big your turkey is.
